Empowering Girls to become Confident Leaders in their Community!
"I would like to be known as an intelligent woman, a courageous woman, a loving woman, a woman who teaches by being."
These words of Maya Angelou embody that of the journey of Elisa Brown. Native to Brooklyn, this intellectual powerhouse has dedicated her career to serving the needs of our youth.
As a youth educator with nearly 15 years experience in leadership development, community organizing, counseling and providing career services to youth, Elisa is shifting her focus to young girls and their development. In 2003, she pioneered a Girl Talk group where her passion to work with young ladies cultivated. Those experiences only scratched the surface of her passion to tackle the growing need to develop young girls both personally and professionally.
Having earned her Bachelors Degree in Human Services from Touro College, she later went on to earn her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College in 2013. Elisa is currently pursing her Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. She is also a member of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honors Society.
